At Jane L. Westerhold Early Learning Center, curriculum and assessment are linked to support learning, to identify individual student needs, for program evaluation and monitoring trends, and for program and school accountability.

 The framework of the program is a foundation of theory and research regarding early development and learning.

These samples include individual work, pictures and videos.  Data collection is aligned with Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards and the 38 teaching strategies objectives that cover all 10 areas of development and learning, including broad developmental areas, content areas, and English language acquisition.
