Our Story
Jane L. Westerhold Early Learning Center was dedicated in October 2011. It was named after the former District 62 Superintendent Dr. Jane L. Westerhold.
Before the Westerhold ELC was built,
CCSD62’s many early childhood programs were held in various District 62 schools. In August of 2011, Westerhold Early Learning Center became the home to all district early childhood programs.
The Westerhold Early Learning Center provides a safe environment where children of all abilities and diverse cultural backgrounds can grow in all developmental areas.
