Early Learning Center
All students at the Early Learning Center have the opportunity to visit the Math Center every week.
This past week the students in Ms. Jessica Richter's class visited the center, exploring the many different items that are not found in the classroom.
The students put together all different types of unique puzzles that challenge them and help them grow in their skills.
There are also books that the children can read along with their teacher to help reinforce the concept of numbers.
Another fun activity the students enjoy is measuring items - and each other! - with measuring tape.
They also had fun playing classic board games like Candyland and Chutes and Ladders.
Ms. Richter explained the functions of a calculator, but her students were convinced it was a cell phone.
The youngest D62 students always look forward to visiting the Math Center with their teacher each week!
