Greetings, Dancing and Cookies!
Early Learning Center students in Ms. Cory's class started out their day by coming up to the front one by one and saying "hello" to the other students.
Following the greetings, Ms. Osborn did a few movement activities with the students and they watched a short video and moved along with an instructor.
The students then watched a video of the classic children's book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
About halfway through the video they went to the table to do an activity.
Ms. Osborn gave them a piece of paper that had a set of cookies on it and she asked them to trace the cookies with a crayon.
While some students completed the tracing activity quickly, others took their time with the task.
The next activity was a freeze dance video, which involved pretending to move like different animals.
They then finished watching the video If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, holding toy cookies in their hands.
Ms. Osborn ended her time with the class with a short video on Bouncy the Dog, which focused on breathing techniques and ways to calm your body.
The students had a chance to hold the stuffed animal version of Bouncy while they were watching the video. They had a great time with Ms. Osborn and look forward to learning with her again!
