Early Learning Center
All of the students at the Early Learning Center had the opportunity to make ornaments which will adorn their holiday tree in downtown Des Plaines.
For the festive project, each of the students received a clear plastic ball.
They filled their balls with colorful pompoms and other sparkly items to make their ornament unique.
When they were done, the students sealed their ornament up and looped a string through it.
The annual Des Plaines holiday tree decorating will take place today (December 6) from 4:00pm to 6:30pm in Metropolitan Square.
There will be community tables, food trucks, and live entertainment, with Santa arriving at 4:45pm and the tree lighting at 6:30pm.
