Fall Fun at the ELC!

Mrs. Tharp read the students a book about pumpkins, teaching them all about their shape, texture, seeds and how they grow.

Then the students split up into groups and worked at various stations around the classroom. 

There was a pumpkin station where the students had the chance to weigh, measure and feel the texture of the pumpkins.

There was also a station where they could see and feel all different types of gourds. 

The students also had a chance to paint pumpkins with their hands. They made sure not to forget to add the stems! 

Other stations they had a chance to play at included a kitchen area, a dollhouse area, a toy car area and a tracing station.
