A Busy Morning in Ms. Zis' Class

After they put the books in the bin, they sang a song about the weather.

While singing, Ms. Zis asked the students what the weather was like that day.

The students looked out the window and described the weather as sunny but also a bit cloudy.

Then it was time to sing "Happy Birthday" to a classmate.

The students then counted how many students were in class that day and Ms. Zis wrote the number on the board.

Because it was Earth Day they watched a short video about the importance of the day and ways to take care of the planet. 

They learned about energy consumption and water pollution and finished their lesson with Ms. Zis reading a book about Earth Day.
