The preschoolers in Ms. Kristine Bertuccioli's class at the Westerhold Early Learning Center were treated to a visit from their musical friend Ms. Leigh Ann Walberg this week.

The students sat on the carpet as Ms. Walberg, a music therapist, played them a song on her guitar.

Walberg visits the Early Learning Center a few days a week, making the rounds to all of the classrooms, planning her music activities according to the themes the students are learning that week.

The students in Ms. Bertuccioli's class had a chance to choose what color guitar pick they wanted to use to play her guitar.

Each of the students took a turn coming up to her guitar and and strumming it with their colorful pick.

They loved playing the guitar and watching each other play it as well.

She then sang a song about dogs, with the help of two dog puppets.

Another highlight of the visit was having a chance to wave colorful streamers to the beat of the music.

The students joined in the singing of "Wheels on the Bus" as she read them the story.

For the finale the students played instruments such as maracas, tambourines and small plastic sound makers.
