Movement, Activity, Conversation and Fish in the ELC

Movement, Activity, Conversation and Fish in the ELC
Early Learning Center

Early Learning Center students in Ms. Jennifer Jennings class began their day tracing different shapes on a piece of paper with Mr. Narci Martinez.

After they worked on shapes, the students gathered with Ms. Jennings on the carpet to participate in MAC (Movement, Activity and Conversation).

Ms. Jennings asked each student one by one to come up to the front of the group and talk about something they were wearing that day.

The students talked about the different colors that they had on, including their shoes.

One student proudly showed off the velociraptor on his shirt. Another student brought in a small green toy car that he was excited to talk about.

Following the MAC activity, the students made their very own fish out of paper plates.

They first colored the fish, then added stickers to it, glued eyes on it and then finally cut out a tail in the shape of a triangle.

After their product was finished, they had time to play.

Some students raced cars, others played with food in the "kitchen," some played dress up and others worked with toy tools.

It was a fun and busy day socializing and playing with one another!
