Parking & Traffic Safety

To ensure a safe and efficient drop off for your students, we want to remind you of a few important things:

Classroom Symbol

Each classroom has a unique classroom symbol.  A cut-out of this symbol will be attached to your child’s backpack. This symbol helps us group students with their classrooms during arrival.  These will be provided to families at Orientation.

Parking Lot Entrance Procedures:

You will receive a shape which will correspond to the program(s) your child attends. Each program has a designated time during which parents are able to enter the parking lot. This information will be shared with parents/guardians at Orientation.

Parking Lot Drop-Off Procedures:

When you pull up to your child's designated entrance, you will be asked to take your child out of your vehicle. An ELC staff member will be at the door to walk your child into the building.

Parking Lot Dismissal Procedures:

Any student who is being picked up by a caregiver who is walking will meet their child by their designated door. Students will be walked to the designated exit and handed off to the caregiver.

Caregivers who are picking up students via car should pull up to the door they were assigned and wait by the designated door to secure their child.

What If My Child Takes The Bus?

You will still receive a shape in the event you need to drop off on occasion. You will be notified of your child’s bus pick-up and drop-off times by the district and/or the bus company.
